The long answer to a frequent question, should I train to CIS or CIT?
You know you need IPC certified employees and now you have to decide how is the best most cost effective procedure to get everyone certified. The question is “Do I certify a couple of in-house instructors or hire an outside training professional?” Let’s ask a few questions and see where the answers point.
What is the cost for the instructor level training? Usually the instructor level training will be 2 or 3 times the cost of the specialist/operator training (CIS).

IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified IPC Trainer Class
November 9 - 13
This class will be held at our Clearwater Facility. Hands-on skills training has been deleveloped to enhance this training session of the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified IPC Trainer's course. The IPC/WHMA describes the acceptability criteria for wire preparations, crimping, soldering, measuring, securing, and testing. Now the participant can do the hands on skills corresponding to these sections! ONLINE Training

Our first online session was a big hit with excellent comments and even some learning going on. On April 14th we delivered our first Intro to IPC training session explaining the different certification options that are available. These session will continue on a monthly or biMonthly schedule so be sure to find one and attend, its free for a limited time. All you need is a computer, telephone and about an hour.
